Noah

Blessed with exceptional magic skills, Noah is the most promising student to have passed through Yora’s School of Magic in its entire history. It can be said that he understands magic on a profound level, often without even knowing why or how. Despite this, he is incredibly modest about his ability and, in an effort to avert any fame or status, he has distanced himself from most of his classmates. He has been best friends with Sorin ever since they can both remember.

As if that weren’t enough, he is extremely introverted and protective of his feelings no thanks to a difficult family life. The sudden death of his mother has weigh heavily on his shoulders and he secretly wishes to leave Yora altogether so that he may leave his past far behind him. Underneath it all, Noah is a smart young man, mature beyond his years and very knowledgeable about the outside world thanks to his father’s travels.

Although he does not have a violent nature, he is more than capable of holding his own if he should be threatened and always willing to help others. He is someone who is very comfortable in their own shoes, but forever plagued by doubts about the world around him.

At the beginning of the story Noah is wracked with worry about his magical abilities as they suddenly develop beyond anything he thought possible. Scared of how people may react he hides the truth about what he can do, even from Sorin, until he discovers his father’s journal and the secrets that lie within. Before either of them have any real time to read further, however, a series of events unfold that separate the pair. Noah must now reunite with Sorin if either of them have a chance to stop Semper’s plans from coming to fruition.
