Sorin

Sorin is an observer of life, quiet and never really one to be first in line. To strangers he can seem a little difficult to approach. As a result he has few friends and his true personality often goes unnoticed. The few he does have, however, he holds close to his heart and would travel to the ends of the world to protect. This is both he greatest strength and weakness, as when someone he cares about is threatened he has a tendancy to lose his cool far too easily and giving little thought to the consequences.

He is a freespirited dreamer that always seeks adventure. Thanks to his somewhat sheltered life, he longs to leave the sleepy town of Yora and set out to explore the world. His constant daydreams and dislike of authority have landed him in trouble at school on several occasions. He is surprisingly knowledgeable about the fundamentals of armed combat and the military thanks to his father’s buisiness. Out of this has also grown a strong appreciation and value of life. 

Sorin is one of the main characters in Guardian Soul and most of the story is told around him. Early on in the story Sorin discovers something about his past that suggests he has some dormant power residing within him. Before he even has time to come to terms with what this might mean, however, he is struck with a powerful curse that threatens his very existence. Throughout the story he must learn how to overcome this curse and discover who he truly is before it is too late.
