The Forgotten Shrine

-:: THE FORGOTTEN SHRINE ::- 

A mysterious and ancient shrine seemingly devoted to the goddess Ayer. Most of its splendour has long been lost to nature and the elements as the remains of its crumbling roof litter the floor. Sunlight pours in from above illuminating the smiling figure of the goddess perched upon a stone plinth. Scratched upon its surface are the words that the goddess left to the Dragons before departing for the heavens: 

“The world is yours now my children, I shall watch over you from afar.”

When our heroes first come across this strange place they are baffled to its location (having never left Yora and knowing little about the outside world). It soon becomes apparent, however, that this small building may be the only true sanctuary left in the world as an elusive darkness tightens its grip upon the land of Raiorin.
